Happy first (3) days of Hanukkah! Yaaay. Even though I don't celebrate it, Gillian told me I could be an honorary Jew last trimester. Gillian also showed me the best song in the entire universe. The people in my Algebra II class know it, (or at least they heard me lamely sing it today). Yes, you're correct, it's the Friend Crush Song! It's the song to my life, and if I could, I'd sing it to everyone who reads this blog.
Today I found a note to me in a Word document on the computer:
Dear Rebecca,
I love you and that’s about it. Even though I don’t like it so much when you yell at me or kick me, I still love you, and you probably know that. Please refrain from breaking any part of my body ‘cause I love you. I think I’m going to play Pokémon now.
Love, Isabel J
I read it and thought to myself, Well isn't this just dandy. And I followed by feeling like a really bad sister. And then I got over it. Everyone who has younger siblings within an 8 year difference will agree: YOU CAN'T HELP BUT BE ANNOYED BY YOUNGER SIBLINGS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY. They were born to harass you, and then when they get older, they become your best friend. Horay.
Oh, finals went well. I have a 4.2something GPA, which isn't too shabby.
Music music... hmmm still slacking on that.
Well now that I think about it, I've been listening to Sublime and Slightly Stoopid quite a bit. I like to play their songs really loud in my house when I'm alone. And then I proceed to dance. If I'm feeling extra extroverted, you might find me in class listening to my iPod and ridiculously swaying back and fourth. Now you know why. Also, this song is especially good for dancing. I suggest that YOU play it really loud at home and bust out some sick moves. I most likely am too.
In fact, I just did! Before you judge, I just want to say that everyone has their vices. Mine is being a sucker for good dancing songs and not caring what I look like when I move my body to the beat. Kind of like at Lotus. That was super fun. And, it burns calories! An added bonus, kiddo.
Rock climbing.... I got fourth in our last competition. Hazel climbed a 5'12 yesterday, and I'm jelous/super happy for her. We lead climbed for real (for the first time) yesterday too. Falling was super fun. SUPER FUN I TELL YOU!!!!
Tonight I'm departing for a Confirmation retreat. It's going to be in the woods, and FREEZING. I might get hypothermia, but am packing many layers to prevent it as well. Weekend with God, I guess you could call it.
Sorry this post was so boring. I'm going to go eat Panera mac n cheese now. Go eat some too.
